#FujiNet, Version 1.6X eXtended, is the same as the other FujiNet 1.6 with the addition of a female SMA antenna connector and a pole antenna to extend the range.

SKU: FN105X-1 Category:

This is the same as the other FujiNet 1.6 with the addition of an external antenna for an extended range for connecting to routers that are further away from your Atari system. Comes with a standard SMA female connector on the FujiNet and a 6dBi 2.4GHz antenna but you can connect any antenna you like provided it’s SMA and 2.4GHz. This version requires the use of an external antenna, it will not work without the antenna.

#FujiNet is a network adapter that attaches to the SIO (Peripheral) port of an Atari 8-bit computer system to a WiFi network; however, it has become an all-encompassing SIO peripheral emulator. The current hardware is a design based on the ESP32-WROVER module and contains a custom 3D printed SIO Plug and Receptacle, allowing users to attach real SIO devices simultaneously with #FujiNet.

Changes for version 1.6

  • Add SD Card Detect pin on GPIO 15
  • Change SIO 5V voltage divider for better accuracy
  • Run Motor Control signal through buffer
    • 10K pullup on ESP side Motor Control
    • 2K pulldown on Atari Side Motor Control
  • Increased hole size on PCB for new SIO Receptacle pins (Much better fit when using SIO cables than previous versions)

Changes for version 1.5

  • Everything that 1.3 had but it works!
  • Better support with other SIO devices.

Changes for version 1.3

All the same great functionality as version 1.0 plus these key changes:

  • Now works with the 1088XEL/XLD!
  • Works correctly with other high-speed devices on the SIO bus.
  • Works correctly with the SIO2PC interface, especially the one in the 1088XEL.
  • SIO lines connected to ESP32 through two 74LS07
  • P & N Channel transistors turn off 74LS07 when FujiNet is turned off separating the ESP32 from the Atari
  • Switch to QFN 24 CP20102 USB to UART Bridge
  • Hard reset button moved to SMD Snap Dome (optional)
  • Safe Reset button (handled in firmware) replaces Hard Reset button
  • New Power switch & 3D printed slide cover
  • Remove always on solder jumper
  • Add pull-down for MOTOR for Cassette emulation
  • JTAG port removed. Signals available as test points
